VISITOR APPLICATION GUIDE

APPLICATION CONDITIONS FOR VISITING
1. It can be arranged tours with registered a “Field Guides” by Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks, including programs will be determined by Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks.
2. Under no circumstances, people who organize a tour must obtain permission from the Administration and filling in organizing an activity form to be organized by Administration. (This situation is important in terms of sustainability of resources, management effectiveness, and visitor’s conservation, monitoring, directing and that came to the protected areas, visitor’s need and defining expectation.)
3. It is filled in organizing an activity form and obtained permission for the tours that will be arranged to Kure Mountains National Park. Applications for permit is made by face-to-face or mail; in the fields of fax and e-mail fields if there is Field Guides Association it is made to the Association, in the case of the absence of  Field Guides Association; it is made to Provincial Branch Offices and/ or District Office.
4. Everybody attended the tour is given a written text about “Rules in nature and national park” by travel agency before the tour does not start and it is ensured to be obeyed the rules.
5. In protected areas, if there is a “Certificated Region Guide”, it is obligatory that the visitors must visit the region with region guides. However, the area outside the strict protection areas identified in the plan and one-day areas of usage can be visited within the frame of identified rules.
6. Materials which are obligatory to have with visitors during the tour are reported to visitors by tourism agency and tourism companies. (These materials are: raincoat, suitable land footwear, sun cream etc.)
 RULES OF VISITORS
1. Visitors in protected areas cannot escape routes that are determined by Administration in accordance with the Long Term Development Plan, the Plan Decision and Rules. (This matter is important for both protecting of resource values and visitor safety.)
2. Natural environment, environmental balance and ecosystem structure cannot be destroyed.
3. It cannot be allowed activities that spoiling natural balance and view and conflicting natural environment and virgin nature.
4. The protection of source’s natural character and source’s continuity is essential.
5. During the tours, making noise that disturbing living creature’s peace and tranquility, physical and mental health and listening to loud music are forbidden.
6. All kinds of interventions that lead (or may be) to lose or change of National Park’s features; activities that lead to soil, water, air pollution and other environmental problems are prohibited.
7. The places that identified as a Strict Preservation Zone in the plan, because of the areas to be need to strict preservation with including resource values and in strict preservation zone, natural areas proposed to release into natural without anthropogenic influence on natural resources, the usage of areas and visitor’s wandering in the area randomly without the knowledge of administration are strictly prohibited.
8. Catching all kinds of wild fauna in the National Park boundaries and collecting of their eggs is prohibited. For the collection of samples used for scientific purposes, it is compulsory to be obtained permission from the Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks.
9.For the collection of samples used for scientific purposes of all kinds of wild flora within the National Park boundaries, it is compulsory to be obtained permission from the Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks and it is compulsory to comply with the regulations (Date:15.08.1992, S:23316) about Conservation and Usage of Plant Genetic Sources.
10. It is not allowed to tour in the regions under the strict protections of all kinds of endangered flora and fauna and in danger zones and places to be entered in terms of safety.
11. Rare, endemic, endangered or can be endangered plant species are not cut, uprooted, destroyed by visitors from the National Park. Eggs and nests of wild animals cannot be collected and destroyed.
12. It cannot be observed the birds and taken picture in the period of birds’ breeding.
13. It cannot be made a fire in the area.
14.  It cannot be organized any activity polluting the area.
15. Under no circumstances, all visitors who visit the protected area are obliged to take back their trashes bringing along.
16. All kinds of activities that will change the quality of the water and polluted the water are prohibited all kinds of aquatic environment.
17. All kinds of hunting activities and fishing are prohibited in the National park boundaries.
18. Bringing all kinds of unknown fish to the aquatic environment is strictly forbidden in the National Park boundaries.
19. It is taken essential precautions for the security of people attended the tours by travel agency.
20. It is obtained permission from Provincial Branch Office for professional photography and shooting movie.
21. The tour prices and durations to be applied in photography and filming is defined by a commission formed of Directorate of Nature Conservation and National Parks and is implemented by Provincial Branch Office.
22. The tours arranged with accommodation, camp sites are determined in accordance with the Long Term Development Plan, the Plan Decisions and Provisions. (It cannot be made camp close 500 m to water sources.)
23. Travel agencies arranged tours with accommodation are obliged to solve a restroom problems of tour participants without harming the environment and leaving residue in accordance with the Long Term Development Plan, the Plan Decisions and Provisions.
24. Conditions of the areas’ usage, utilization and level are determined by the Administration and it cannot be gone out of “transportation capacity”.
25. Tour routes can be visited which vehicles (vehicle-pedestrian etc.) are defined by the Long Term Development Plan and     management plan. The vehicles are not available in Plan Decisions and Provisions cannot be used.
26. The practices of the visitor management and usage etc. in areas are implemented within preparing plans and it cannot be gone out of Plan Decisions and Provisions.
27. Services and institutions towards the protection, management, research, informing and guidance visitors in protected areas are predicted in accordance with the plans for this area in a minimum way to create detrimental effect and are determined with application plan.
28. The tours within the National park boundaries are obliged to remain together in the region guidance leadership. Separating from the group and behaving distractingly are prohibited.
29. Each visitor is obliged to keep them necessary equipment.
30. It cannot be taken a photo without permission from the people taken their photos in amateur photo shoot during especially taking other people’s photo.
